Terrible Experience

I booked Best Western for August 2 and August 3, 2023. When we arrived, the rooms were skanky, smelled bad and had limited appeal. The soap was tiny, as was the shampoo. You pay a tremendous amount, and expect to receive a little luxury! Not here at Besr Western!!!! The following day, I hang the service nob on the door and NOTHING is done to the room!!!! I went to the manager to complain that my room was NOT made up, and he (A very rude Indian Man) came out YELLING at me on the court Yard (in front of other customers), that THIS is their POLICY!!!! I exclaimed that I paid for TWO DAYS, and I expectected to have TWO days of clean rooms and service!!!!! He was beligerent, and tried to cram a paper stating the policy in my face!!! Finally, the maid stepped up to me in apology for his behavior and offered me clean towels!!!!! What an awful experience!!!! I hate Best Western!!!! Maria Martinez

Terrible stay at this ...

Terrible stay at this hotel!!! Room was dirty/very outdated (dirty pillows). Grab and go breakfast included spoiled apples. To top it off, host (gentlemen) was extremely rude. If staying in the beautiful city of Carmel, please stay elsewhere

Horrible experience. Really Bad ...

Horrible experience. Really Bad pillows that were replaced next day with not much better. Neck hurts very bad now, and we couldn't sleep. Phone in room didn't work...called front desk with my cell but no answer and the lobby was locked and dark. First night had just one channel on the TV...remote replaced next day but after dinner we had no cable at all...and still none the next day. Refrigerator in the room so we could put dinner leftovers, but no microwave on the entire property to heat it up! It was 80 degrees in the room, and Carmel hotels have no AC!? Miserable stay...will never return. The manager did walk us to our room, which was the only good thing that happened
