The lady at the front desk was amazing! She made the check-in process, enjoyable and easy. She even gave me a personal tour of the property. The room is nicer than I expected and the location is great. Everything in downtown Carmel is with an easy walking distance. Just leave the car at the hotel.

If you're looking for an affordable and cozy place to stay in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, this is it! It's the perfect spot if you just need a clean, comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring. Sanjay, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome as a solo traveler. He checked in with me upon arrival to make sure I had made it safely after my seven-hour drive from Palm Springs, and throughout my stay he was always available if I needed anything or had questions. His hospitality made me feel right at home. The hotel amenities were updated, clean, and straightforward. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, although I do wish there were a few more options available. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling on a budget. Carmel can be an expensive town, so finding a comfortable, reasonably priced place like this was a great value. The location couldn't have been better—I didn't have to use my car at all. Restaurants, shops, and even the beach were all within easy walking distance. A big thank you to Sanjay and the entire team for making this hotel feel like my second home. I'll definitely be back on my next visit!

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay here for Valentines weekend. Couldn’t be in a better location as all of Downtown was within walking distance.
