If you're looking for an affordable and cozy place to stay in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, this is it! It's the perfect spot if you just need a clean, comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring. Sanjay, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome as a solo traveler. He checked in with me upon arrival to make sure I had made it safely after my seven-hour drive from Palm Springs, and throughout my stay he was always available if I needed anything or had questions. His hospitality made me feel right at home. The hotel amenities were updated, clean, and straightforward. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, although I do wish there were a few more options available. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling on a budget. Carmel can be an expensive town, so finding a comfortable, reasonably priced place like this was a great value. The location couldn't have been better I didn't have to use my car at all. Restaurants, shops, and even the beach were all within easy walking distance. A big thank you to Sanjay and the entire team for making this hotel feel like my second home. I'll definitely be back on my next visit!

Owner & staff were incredibly helpful / hospitable, even with a big group that likely tested the staff’s patience. Location is the best and cannot beat the price. Thank you! We’ll be back for sure.
