Best Western should take ...

Best Western should take off their name from this motel, because truly is not a hotel nor is it an inn, we stayed in their 103 number room for two night's, the shower very old fashion and there was no cleanliness about it. The breakfast, only jimmy dean sandwich and yogurt. The lady at the front desk was nice. The rest I do not suggest this motor in, for four people we payed more for two nights that I payed for three nights at the JW Marriott in San Francisco. The two star that I gave is too much

Great location, reasonable and ...

Great location, reasonable and rooms are updated! All the things you look for in a place to stay. The location was just blocks from the main street, walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The inn keeper, Sanjay was great, he was accommodating and gave great recommendations on where to go. They offer a free grab and go breakfast and have a lovely 2nd story terrace to eat, relax and enjoy the tree tops. My only complaint was that the hot water took quite a while to got hot. Carmel's water can be tricky, but a nice little sign or heads up sign would be nice. Would definitely recommend and will stay again. Ask for an upgraded room, as I believe some are still being updated
