Great location as if Carmel By The Sea has a bad location:-) Best Western was clean, small, great staff and right in the middle of everything Carmel has to offer.

The room had all that I needed, and was very clean. The closet is huge! The location was absolutely central. My only complaint was trash trucks early in the morning! The Managers are wonderful. Kind, helpful and a pleasure to know. Recommended!!

I want to highlight how accommodating the management is. Our trip was scheduled 2 days after the news that flights may be cancelled due to the 2025 government shutdown. We were concerned we would not be able to cancel our hotel in time for the normal 48-hour cancellation period if something were to happen with our flight. However, management extended this period 2 additional days, plenty of time for us to cancel our reservation in case our flight was cancelled or delayed. Everything went fine with our flight in the end, but we greatly appreciated how understanding and flexible they were!

Abbiamo soggiornato a Carmel durante un viaggio da San Francisco a Los Angeles. La scelta è stata casuale ma abbiamo trovato una gradita sorpresa, due gentilissime e simpatiche persone, i gestori, che con entusiasmo ci hanno fatto sentire subito i benvenuti. Basterebbero solo loro per dare 5 stelle! Torneremo sicuramente in occasione di un nostro prossimo viaggio. Grazie!
