Stayed here for a weekend and found the beds to be super comfy, the water pressure was excellent and the water hot! Not much more that we need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t see Carmel but we will have to return. And we would stay here again. It’s nothing fancy but it has all that we need. The owners were extremely kind and accommodating when we had to check out a day early. Never tried the breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good! And the location is excellent.

La habitación que nos dieron estaba limpia y en buenas condiciones, la ubicación también está muy bien a 2 cuadras de la calle principal del pueblo y el desayuno estuvo muy bueno, el lugar para desayunar es muy pequeño por lo cual recomiendo ir temprano. Como punto en contra las almohadas estaban demasiado altas y costaba un poco dormir, en general está bien para pasar la noche.

Our stay at The Best Western in Carmel was simply wonderful. Sanjay is the epitome of what an owner/proprietor should be. He is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and gracious. He doesn’t just take your money, he offers you SERVICE. He is very knowledgeable of the best places to dine and even the best way to charge your EV. The property itself is located within walking distance of everything important in Carmel for those visiting. Food, wine, shopping and the beach are a few blocks away. The rooms are nice and CLEAN. They are not super fancy( Who cares? Carmel is about experiencing the CITY), but they are not run down either. Its simply a nice room at a fair price. The breakfast is more than enough for a quick bite. There is ample parking and the property is quiet. When we return, which will be SOON, we will be staying at THIS PROPERTY. It will be our “second home”.
