The band is known for their hard-hitting, whiskey-fueled lyrics that draw from traditional country, rock and roll, and punk rock influences. The bands founder and frontman, Leroy Virgil, has been described as a modern-day Hank Williams Sr. and a true country outlaw.Hellbound Glorys debut album, Scumbag Country, was released in 2010 and was praised by critics for its honest and gritty lyrics. The bands follow-up album, Damaged Goods, was released in 2011 and featured the hit single Better Hope You Die Young.Over the years, Hellbound Glory has toured extensively and built a loyal fanbase with their high-energy live shows. The band has shared the stage with acts such as Guns n Roses, Kid Rock, Leon Russell, and ZZ Top. In 2013, they released their third album, LV, which was recorded in Virgils hometown of Aberdeen Wa.Despite the bands underground following and critical acclaim, they have struggled to gain mainstream success.
