Our Leading For Equity Residential institute provides ample opportunities for sharing, reflection, and planning. We develop individual and collective leadership at every level of schools, districts, foundations or nonprofit organizations to develop capacity to foster positive change on behalf of historically under-served students and families. Participants deepen their commitment, relationships, and efficacy while developing strategies toward equity goals. Teams receive expert, caring guidance and facilitation to work together to address the personal and technical challenges they face in their educational equity efforts. We offer two versions of the Leading for Equity Institute - residential and nonresidential. This is a residential offering. To see dates for nonresidential institutes, click here.  Our residential LFEs are four-day, three-night institutes held at beautiful retreat centers surrounded by nature. They provide the space and extended time together for deep conversations and meaningful relationship-building and strengthening. This longer version of the institute includes additional content and expanded opportunities for both individual and team reflection, dialogue and planning. Both residential and non-residential LFE institute offerings are designed for teams. As such, you must register with a minimum of two and a maximum of eight people per team. If your team has more than eight people, we encourage you to split your team to attend different LFE institute dates. If you would like to discuss bringing a team of more than eight people, please contact us at events@nationalequityproject.org, as we can occasionally accommodate larger teams, particularly at non-residential institutes. Important Lodging Information: Participants will be lodged in shared double rooms with separate beds with another member of their team or, occasionally, a member of a different team. We prepare rooming lists based on pronouns shared at the time of registration. If you have any c
