Customers Love This California Hotel

While not large, the room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. Manager J.D. Desai is friendly and professional. He explained that a process of renovation has been underway and is almost complete.  We go to Carmel frequently and find that parking is often problematic. Not so by staying here. Good accommodation, reasonably priced and with a solution to your parking hassle.There may be fancier, and more pricey places, but this is a nice stay and a good value.

We had just the one night at this hotel on our road trip down the California coast. It was exactly as expected based on the other reviews on Trip Advisor.  The room, including the bathroom, had been recently renovated to a high standard. It was on the compact size, particularly given there were four of us using the room. It was,however, perfectly adequate for our needs, given the one night stay, and for just a couple would be perfect. The front desk staff were friendly and the included breakfast good. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfast room is only a small area in the reception room, but given our visit in the off-season, this was absolutely fine. It might require your taking your breakfast back to your room if the hotel is busier. The best thing about Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge is its really handy location just a very short walk away from the main shopping and restaurant area in Ocean Avenue. It's such a gorgeous town to wander around.  All in all, I recommend this hotel for extremely good value in what can be an expensive town.

Great Location. The room was comfortable with very comfy king size bed, fridge and in room safe. Bathroom was spacious and clean.  They serve a continental breakfast, but the breakfast area was too small.  Convenient parking. Good location, close to the village, in a walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very central but quiet.  We will stay here again when we return to Carmel.

The service from the hotel was very good from the very start. Checking in was fast and easy. The room we had was spacious and clean. Granite counter tops, flat screen tv, and centrally located. I don't think you can find a better located hotel in Carmel. You can walk to several great resturants and pubs. I will be staying here for my next visit to Carmel.

Carmel is so charming even in the winter months. The hotel was walking distance to the village but yet quiet because it was off the main street. Rooms are clean and updated.

I recently booked a room at the Carmel Comfort Inn as I was attending a business party in the area. I was greatly impressed with the friendly staff, clean and modernized accomodations and convenient parking. The centralized location of the hotel made it easy to walk to downtown Carmel. This hotel is a score and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

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

Thanks to Neela for letting us enjoy our "night out" - it was so appreciated! Rooms are decorated beautifully and the location is unbeatable. Breakfast was really good and the cleanliness of the whole hotel was commendable. We enjoyed our whole experience at the hotel very much and would most certainly recommend this hotel to our friends or any other traveler wanting to visit the area and have a comfortable stay in a lovely room at a great price! Value for money - this hotel cannot be beaten in the area! As for location - 50 meters from Hogs Breath Inn - what a great place to hang out and so close to the hotel. All in all - we enjoyed every minute of our time there

What a warm welcome to such pleasant surroundings! It had "almost " been raining all the way up the coast, and we were so pleasantly surprised at the lovely place we had chosen to stay! We couldn't believe the price, and were so impressed that we changed our itinerary to include another day in our beautiful room. The management was particularly gracious. Great recommendations for dining and sightseeing were given, as well as faultless directions. (I can get lost on a straight street!) I can't say enough! I am looking forward to booking another stay after the crowds of the summertime subside. Tending to be an off season traveller, I will wait anxiously for my next visit to the Best Western Carmel's Town House. What a great stay!!!
